About Vanset
Meet the Founder
I saw good leads go cold simply because nobody could answer in time.

Why I built Vanset
The sale can’t happen if the conversation never starts.
What I kept seeing
I spent years working in sales, including calling old and cold leads myself. I saw what happened when a business couldn’t respond quickly enough: by the time someone called back, the person’s interest had often faded or they had already moved on.
Working around owners in roofing, remodeling, and windows showed me the other side of the problem. They weren’t sitting behind desks waiting for calls. They were on roofs, climbing ladders, working with their hands, meeting customers, driving between jobs, or already closing another deal. They couldn’t always stop when the phone rang, and they couldn’t answer two calls at once.
When someone contacts a business, there is already some level of intent. They may want information, an estimate, an appointment, a quote, or they may be ready to buy. If that conversation never happens, the sale never gets a chance to start.
The sale can’t happen if the conversation never starts.
What I wanted to do differently
I didn’t want Vanset to become another rigid phone service. Robotic conversations, confusing calls, limited flexibility, and changes that take too long all get in the way of the caller and the business.
I care about making each conversation natural, useful, and easy to follow. I don’t want Vanset guessing, making up answers, confusing callers, booking appointments where they don’t belong, or making someone feel trapped talking to a machine. Those are standards I keep working toward, not claims that technology is perfect.
How Vanset should work
Vanset should work around the business. The business shouldn’t have to work around Vanset. I wanted us to learn the hours, availability, questions, appointment needs, and moments when someone on the team should step in, then handle the setup for the owner.
If Vanset is doing its job, the business should have more solid appointments on the calendar, fewer good leads slipping away, and more time for the owner and their team to focus on the work that actually grows the business.
